SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The body of a Bienville Parish man missing since February 21 has been found, according to Sheriff John Ballance.

Tyler Johnson, 32, had not made contact with anyone since leaving his mother's house on foot, walking along Stagecoach Road off of LA 154 south of Gibsland.

Deputies searched the area in the days following his disappearance but turned up no signs of the missing father of two.

The sheriff's office got a call from a family member around 12:30 p.m. Monday from a relative of Johnson's reporting that they had found him in a wooded area north of Stagecoach Road near Mt. Lebanon.

At the time of his disappearance, the sheriff's office said that foul play was not suspected. However, his state of mind was a possible cause for concern for his welfare.

There is no word yet on the cause of Johnson's death, but Sheriff Ballance says foul play is not suspected.
