Caddo coroner identifies man fatally shot on Trannie Lane

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The Caddo coroner's office today released the name of a man who was fatally shot 10 days ago in Shreveport.

He has been identified as 36-year-old Moses Johnson.

Johnson died after being shot several times in his upper body, including once in his forehead and once in a cheek, Shreveport City Jail booking records show.

He was fatally shot at his residence in the 7900 block of Trannie Lane while arguing with a man at 4:58 p.m. Feb. 20.

Police arrested 41-year-old Orlandthefer J. Cary, of the 4100 block of Henry Street in Shreveport.

He was booked into Shreveport City Jail on a charge of second-degree murder then transferred to Caddo Correctional Center at 3:08 a.m. Feb. 21, booking records show.

Cary remains in the parish lockup. His bond has been set at $500,000.
