TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) - A Texarkana, Texas baby made quite the entrance into the world Monday morning when her mother gave birth while walking along the street pushing a shopping cart outside the Renaissance Plaza Apartments.

"Panic attack, I had a panic attack! I ain't no good," exclaimed Alice White, who witnessed it all from the balcony of her third-floor apartment and is still in disbelief.

"She was right in here pushing that buggy," recalled White, but it didn't take her long to realize what was happening.

"I said you pregnant? She said yeah. I said you hurting? She said yeah, oh it's coming!"

She immediately dialed 911 and noticed someone stop to help.

"She was mooning the world and giving birth," said Pam White who was headed home from the store. The grandmother of 15 stopped the car and sprang into action. Crediting her grandkids and previous work experience.

"A few years at St. Micheal's and kids that love to pop kids out on me," said White, "So we did good."

All the while, Alice White stayed watching and praying for emergency crews to arrive.

"I'm nervous I was crying, she was hollering and I was hollering too." said Alice White.

We're still working to get an update on Mom and baby.
