SPD search for gunman in Exxon robbery

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport Police have released several images to the public in hopes that it will help them identify the suspect who robbed a west Shreveport service station early Sunday morning.

It happened just after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 4 at the Exxon gas station located in the 900 block of Mansfield Road.

According to an employee, the gunman entered the business armed with a hand gun, before demanding the clerk to hand over the cash drawer from the register.

After stealing an unknown amount of cash, the suspect fled and was seen getting into what is believed to be a black Chevrolet Impala sedan.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described by witnesses as a male, dressed in a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, with a white bandana covering a portion of his face.
