Robbers target 2 Circle K gas stations overnight

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Two Circle K stores in Shreveport were targeted by robbers Thursday morning and police believe they're related.

The latest one happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Circle K in the 8600 block of Youree Drive.

Police say a man walked into the store acting like he was armed and demanded money from the register. He got away with an unknown amount of cash.

The man was last seen driving off westbound on Millicent Way in a 4-door dark-colored vehicle.

The man is described as being 6'2" about 240 pounds with red hair and a beard. Police say he was wearing a black zip hoodie with gray shorts and gray shoes.

Shortly before the robbery on Youree Drive, police were called to another Circle K in the 1000 block of Shreveport-Barksdale Highway for an attempted robbery.

According to police reports, 2 men went into the store and demanded money. Employees told police one of the robbers indicated he had a gun in his waistband.

The men were not able to get any money from the register. They left the store in an unknown direction in a black 4-door vehicle.

Police say one of the robbers stands about 6'2" between 220-240 pounds with red hair and a beard. The other man stands about 6'1" and was wearing a leather bikers jacket with tattoos on his left arm and face.
