NATCHITOCHES PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A teenager is recovering after his truck crashed Sunday morning in Natchitoches Parish.

The 19-year-old was driving a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck northbound on Red River Levee Road near Cloutierville, LA. around 6:30 a.m. He was reportedly on his way to a hunting trip in the area.

Deputies say he was driving through foggy conditions when his truck went right on a left curve, left the roadway and overturned multiple times before stopping near the levee bar pits.

The driver from Lena, LA was taken to Rapides Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The truck and a Honda ATV he was transporting received heavy damage.

The crash is being investigated by Troopers assigned to LSP Troop-E Alexandria.

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Deputies, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS, and Natchitoches Parish Fire District#1 First Responders all responded to the crash.
