SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Police have made an arrest in the shooting that left one man dead, and two others injured in early October.

Tobias Williams, 27, was is charged with on one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder.

The body of 18-year-old Bobby Evans was found behind a vacant house in the 1200 block of Travis Street back on October 3. He had been shot in the stomach.

Police were responding to a report of another shooting at Pete Harris Drive and Ford Street about a man who had been shot in the hand when a resident in the area told them about Evans' body.

In addition to the man shot in the hand, identified as 25-year-old Demaria Williams, police say a third shooting victim turned up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Both Williams and 41-year-old Kevin Carr survived their injuries.

Detectives had little to go on initially, but the investigation ultimately led to Williams as the prime suspect. He was picked up at his Alston Street home on Monday and taken to SPD headquarters for questioning. Following his interview with detectives, he was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
