ETX shooting suspect in custody

NEW BOSTON, TX (KSLA) - The suspect in the shooting of a man in New Boston, Texas, is in custody.
Police had a warrant to arrest 38-year-old Kenji Lamont Easter, of New Boston, on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities put out a plea the afternoon of Nov. 4 asking the public to help them find Easter.
He turned himself in just before 7 p.m. Nov. 4, police Lt. Johnny Millwood said.
Easter is accused of shooting a man whom police found about 12:15 a.m. Nov. 4 in the area of East Hoskins and Washington streets.
At last report, the wounded man was in a hospital intensive-care unit. Police have not released the wounded man's name.
