Surveillance video: Marshall PD investigating Save-A-Lot robbery

MARSHALL, TX (KSLA) - Marshall police have released surveillance video of a robbery at a local grocery store in hopes of identifying a suspect.

Police say it happened around 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Save-A-Lot in the 600 block of East End Boulevard South.

The employee told police an unidentified man walked in the office, insinuated he had a handgun and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a white male who stands about 5'6" – 5'8" tall, has a medium build and a mustache. He is believed to be in his 40s. He was wearing glasses and an oversized raincoat with a hood at the time of the robbery.
