MARSHALL, TX (KSLA) - Marshall police are investigating the cause of a crash that left two dead Friday night.
Police say 81-year-old Gertrude Nathe and 82-year-old Donald Nathe were killed when their vehicle was hit on Loop 390 at Highway 154.
It happened on Friday, October 7 around 7:50 p.m.
According to police, Nathe stopped at the stop sign on Highway 154 and then continued southbound. Upon entering the intersection, her vehicle was reportedly struck by a Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling eastbound on Loop 390.
The driver of the Silverado has been identified as 67-year-old George Archambeau of Marshall. Police say he suffered minor injuries.
Mrs. Nathe and her passenger Donald, both of Brunswick, Georgia, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is currently under investigation.
