HOWARD COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - Two of the four people arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a July bank robbery in the ArkLaTex are now back in Arkansas.
The pair made their first court appearance in Howard County Wednesday.
Tatyana Mcbee, 18 and Byron Coleman, 28, both of Tulsa, went before Arkansas Circuit Judge Tom Cooper Wednesday morning. Both are charged in connection with the armed robbery of Diamond Bank of Mineral Springs, Arkansas.
"We believe this was planned," said prosecuting attorney Bryan Chesshir.
Investigators say Mcbee and Coleman were with at least two other suspects who entered the bank with guns and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
Days after the robbery, police tracked the group down in Tulsa. Chesshir said the robbery in Mineral Springs was not the group's first time.
"The fact when the police, along with the Tulsa Police Department took these individuals down for arrest, it appeared they were about to go out and do another robbery," explained Chesshir.
In court, Coleman reportedly admitted to previous felonies, including assault on a police officer.
The judge set Coleman's bond at $250,000.
Tatyana has no previous felony charges and her bond was set at $100,000.
"All I can tell you right now is the investigation is ongoing," said Chesshir.
Investigators aren't saying why the suspects came from Oklahoma to the small city of Mineral Springs to commit the robbery.
The other two suspects in this case are still being held in Tulsa.
No time table has been set on their extradition to face the charges in Howard County.
