BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Bossier City police are investigating an overnight attempted armed robbery of a hotel and are asking the public for help with identifying the person who was caught on surveillance video.
Officers were called to the Shreveport Country Inn in the 1900 block of Airline Drive just after 2 a.m. Thursday in reference to a man who reportedly tried to rob the business at gunpoint. According to police, the man entered the lobby, approached the night clerk and demanded money. However, the suspect got startled and fled the scene before he was able to get anything, police say.
The attempted robber is described as a black male, around 5'6" tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He also appeared to have a bump on the left side of his forehead. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie that was worn over his head, dark colored pants and a red or orange piece of cloth over part of his face.
