Drug bust nets 3 arrests in SWAR

MILLER COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - Three people were arrested Wednesday after a search warrant was executed at a Southwest Arkansas residence.

Around 7 a.m., a task force of area law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of PR 1060 in Fouke.

As a result, two men and one woman were arrested.

Deputies say 49-year-old Sonya Littles is charged with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver-meth, 4 counts of possession of a controlled substance - narcotics, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of firearms by certain persons, first-degree fraud (counterfeit currency) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Raymond Caswell, 64, was charged with theft by receiving.

Authorities also arrested 37-year-old Jamie Caswell and charged him with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver - meth, four counts of possession of a controlled substance - narcotics, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of firearms by a certain person, first-degree fraud (counterfeit currency), possession of drug paraphernalia and theft by receiving.

Jamie Caswell was also wanted for failing to surrender on his felony probation for a previous charge of possession of a controlled substance.

The bust this week wasn't Littles' first run-in with the law either. In 2015 she was arrested during a traffic stop where police reportedly found drugs, along with Littles' small child, in the car.

The task force was made up of members of the Miller County Sheriff's Office, the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, Bi-State Narcotics Task Force, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Game and Fish Agents, Shreveport police, Louisiana State Police and the National Insurance Crime Bureau.

The case remains under investigation.
