BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - The woman accused of stealing a cell phone that was accidentally left at a Haughton store has been identified.

Bossier Sheriff's detectives arrested 37-year-old Rose Ann Wright, of Princeton, and charged her with felony theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Detectives say Wright was the woman captured on surveillance video taking the phone from the counter at the Circle K on Highway 80 back on August 2.

Police said the video showed a man and woman approaching the counter to make their purchase when Wright picked up the phone and gave it to a young man standing behind her.

After releasing the surveillance pictures to the media, Bossier deputies say they received several tips from the public about the suspect's identity.

Wright was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility where she is awaiting bond.

Bossier deputies say the cell phone was recovered and returned to the victim.
