Fire burns vacant house in Texarkana

TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) - The Texarkana fire marshal is working to determine the cause of a fire in a vacant house.
It happened about 6 p.m. Saturday at Preston at Ray streets.
A passing motorist saw the fire and attempted to check whether anyone was inside.
Fire crews arrived to find flames shooting through the roof of the structure.
Officials say utilities were not connected to the house.
The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
