Natchitoches police: Shooting suspect is armed, dangerous

NATCHITOCHES, LA (KSLA) - Natchitoches police are asking for the public's help locating a shooting suspect they say should be considered to be armed and dangerous.

Authorities are looking for 22-year-old Jermaine Lacour, of Natchitoches, on 1 count each of simple burglary, aggravated assault with a firearm, carrying a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm inside the city limits.

He is described as standing about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 147 pounds.

Police received a report of gunshots about 9 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Pavie Street. Officers reportedly found several bullet casings on the ground plus a vehicle that had been struck by a bullet.

Authorities said no one was wounded in the shooting.
