SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Police are looking for the person responsible for firing several shots in West Shreveport.

Officers were called to the 4200 block of Encina Drive just before 4:30 p.m. Monday on reports of shots being fired.

According to police, at least 2 vehicles and 1 house were struck by gunfire.

"We just heard gunshots fired and the last shot was fired into our house and so we came outside. They say they were shooting at somebody, but it was our car, our house and everything. But really, we want to say all that gun violence needs to stop. This is not even right. These innocent people's lives and we have nothing to do with this going on here," said resident Kendra Butler.

No description of a possible suspect was immediately made available and no injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or on their website www.lockemup.org.
