SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Crews worked to remove an airplane that veered off the runway in Shreveport Monday morning.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the Shreveport Downtown Airport.
Spokesman for the airport Mark Crawford said there were 2 people on the plane doing flight training. They were trying to take off but were not getting the lift they needed so they cut the power and came back down on the runway, said Crawford. The plane came to a rest about 20 feet to the right of the runway.
There were no injuries reported.
