CAMPTI, LA (KSLA) - Two people are facing charges after a Natchitoches drug task force searched a house in Campti.

On Sunday, April 24, Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force Agents searched a house in the 200 block of Mike Johnson Road for complaints of the sale of illegal narcotics.

During the search, agents arrested 30-year-old Sammy Pottain for an outstanding warrant for distribution of methamphetamine.

Agents also found a .380 caliber handgun, 2 grams of suspected high grade marijuana, 8 capsules of suspected Kratom, two digital scales, 38 grams of suspected methamphetamine and an assortment of drug paraphernalia.

Warrants were also issued for the homeowner, identified as 48-year-old Charlotte Holt. She was later arrested on Thursday, April 28 for letting a disorderly place and possession of drug paraphernalia. During a search after her arrest, agents found what they believed to be Tramadol and Clonazepam pills.

Both were taken to Natchitoches Parish Detention Center to await bond.
