BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - The man accused of fleeing from Plain Dealing police and Bossier Parish Sheriff's deputies was taken into custody Thursday.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies and a K-9 team arrested 31-year-old Antonyo Oliver at the Outpost Travel Center and Truck Stop around 1:40 a.m. Thursday without incident.

Authorities say when Oliver was taken into custody, he was found to be in possession of a small bag of suspected marijuana, in addition to the multiple bags of marijuana, a digital scale and scissors that deputies reportedly found in his car on Wednesday.

Oliver was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility where he is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer and switched tags.

Oliver was also arrested on two outstanding warrants from the Shreveport Police Department.

The Bossier Sheriff's Office says they thank the support by the public, media and tips via Bossier Crime Stoppers.
