1 arrested, 1 at large in Shreveport armed robbery

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police have arrested 1 of 2 men in connection to an armed robbery Monday night.

Police say around 8:45 p.m. 2 men took part in the armed robbery of the Valero Gas Station in the 200 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. The men reportedly went into the store showed a handgun and demanded money.

No one was injured in the robbery.

One of the suspects was identified as 22-year-old Malik Kilgore. He was detained in the 9200 block of Blom Boulevard.

Investigators found evidence to connect Kilgore to the robbery and he was later arrested.

The second suspect is still at large. At this time, police are working to recover surveillance footage to identity and apprehend the second suspect.
