This past week, my wife and I saw a great show at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.
It was the Blue Man Group, a somewhat weird performance, but lots of fun. The show has been playing in Las Vegas for years and is touring the country.
But the reason I bring this up because it struck me that the Municipal Auditorium is going through a rebirth of sorts.
It recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation and is aggressively booking a lot of concerts and performances.
Performers like Diana Ross, Tyler Perry, Robert Plant and Cole Swindell.
Something that makes a great place to live is quality of life. Part of that is entertainment, fun things to do.
I congratulate those who operate the Municipal Auditorium. You are not only keeping a historic venue alive, but improving our quality of life as well.
I'm James Smith.
