Man committed in Shreveport after climbing tree while naked

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police officers took a man to the hospital Friday morning to be committed.

The man was found naked in a tree around 8:30 a.m. throwing things at cars near the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Gladstone Boulevard, according to police.

The man was taken out of the tree by Shreveport Fire Department personnel.

Officers took the man to University Health on a emergency commitment order.

No charges have been filed against the man at this time.
