BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - Bossier Parish detectives say the man previously identified as a "person of interest" this week in connection with some residential burglaries is not their suspect.
Detectives released surveillance video from a Haughton grocery store on Tuesday, asking for the public's help in identifying a man they believed was connected to the crimes.
While authorities have not released the man's name, they say the man is cooperating with law enforcement and is no longer considered a person of interest or a suspect.
According to Bossier deputies, thieves have been taking mostly electronics from residences on Highways 157, 162 and other homes in the Haughton area since Feb. 1.
Detectives say they believe there are possibly three men who have been committing the crimes.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is urged to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 318-424-4100.
