SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police have confirmed a connection between a bank robbery last week and 2 children that have been missing for more than 3 weeks.

Thursday, a man was captured on bank surveillance robbing the ANECA Federal Credit Union in the 4300 block of Youree Dr. He reportedly received an undisclosed amount of money, ran out and jumped into a box-like black SUV, reportedly driven by a woman.

The technique and descriptions were similar to 2 other robberies in Shreveport and Bossier City. The suspects from those robberies are also the same suspects believed to be behind the abduction of 2 children, 7-year-old Donnie Simmons and 2-year-old Elijah Wong. Those children are still missing.

Shreveport police confirm the suspect in the ANECA robbery is believed to be 34-year-old Keith Rogers. Witnesses positively picked him out of a lineup investigators presented them.

Investigators are still looking for Rogers and 28-year-old Antoinette Wong, the mother of the two missing half-brothers, who have not been seen since January 12. A Level II Missing/Endangered Child Media Advisory remains in effect for them.

Police say a second arrest warrant for Rogers, charging him with simple robbery, has been issued. Bond in the matter has been set at $1,000,000.

Anyone with tips on the missing children, or any of the robberies is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or visit their website at
