Surveillance cameras capture Subway armed robbery
VIVIAN, LA (KSLA) - Caddo sheriff's detectives have released images from surveillance video in an effort to identify and apprehend 2 males who robbed a sandwich shop in Vivian.
It happened just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Subway in the 900 block of South Pine Street.
Vivian Assistant Police Chief Perry Hart told KSLA News 12 that 2 armed men ordered everyone in the restaurant to the floor while demanding money.
One of the robbers was armed with a black handgun, the other with a rifle.
The men jumped the counter and forced a clerk to give them money from a register then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Caddo sheriff's office.
No injuries were reported.
Both of the robbers had masks of some type covering their faces, the sheriff's office reports. One also was wearing a camouflage jacket, jeans and black and white shoes. The other had on a gray hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.
