BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Bossier City police are investigating a wreck that damaged a business Tuesday night.

It happened around 9:45 p.m. at the Valero in the 2800 block of Airline Drive at Viking Drive.

Police say a truck crashed into the convenience store, leaving a huge hole in the front of the building and a big mess to clean up.

At least 1 employee was inside the building at the time of the crash but no injuries were reported.

Crews on scene say the driver thought he had put the truck in reverse but hit the gas and went forward crashing into the front of the store.

The truck reportedly did not suffer damage.

The wreck remains under investigation.
