Shreveport gas station robbed with shotgun

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The search is on for the man who held up an east Shreveport convenience store with a shotgun early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 1:36 a.m. at the Circle K in the 1000 block of Shreveport-Barksdale Highway.

According to police, the slender built man was wearing a gray hooded shirt when he entered the store carrying the shotgun.

Police say he left with an unknown amount of money and drove off in a silver Chevy Impala headed west on Kings Highway.

No injuries were reported.

The man has not been arrested.

Police are working to recover surveillance footage to identify the alleged robber.
