CULLEN, LA (KSLA) - Flames still were flaring Tuesday morning from a blaze that has destroyed a warehouse in Cullen, La., but firefighters say they've got the fire contained.
Crews continued to douse hot spots as they monitored the building off U.S. Highway 371 overnight in hopes that the massive fire eventually will burn itself out.
No one was inside the warehouse, which a business across the street was using to store plastics, when the blaze was reported about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Nearly 200 firefighters from 7 fire departments throughout north Webster Parish responded to the initial call, Cullen Fire Chief Tommy "Flash" Arnold said.
No injuries have been reported.
The blaze remains under investigation. Authorities will be unable to determine the exact cause of the fire until they can get into the building.
