Man found fatally shot in Natchitoches apartment

NATCHITOCHES, LA (KSLA) - Natchitoches police are investigating a fatal shooting.
The Police Department received a 911 call at 12:58 p.m. Nov. 21 reporting a shooting at Lakeview Apartments.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his face in one of the bedrooms of a unit there.
Fredrick Sowell, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene by a representative of the Natchitoches Parish coroner's office.
"The investigation is ongoing, and no further info will be released at this time," Natchitoches police Capt. Brad R. Walker says in a statement released at 4:37 p.m.
