BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - Deputies with the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a loose livestock call Saturday morning.

The deputies discovered a pot belly big walking down the road on Dogwood Trail near the Dixie Mart.

Deputy Steve Hoff and patrol trainee Deputy Rusty Shoemake gave a few pig calls to lure the pot belly pig.

The deputies even opened a pork flavored Meals Ready to Eat in an attempt to catch the pig.

The pig was put in the back of the patrol car and taken to the nearby Dogwood Stables.

The owner was reunited with the pig after the Dogwood Stables created a post on Facebook about the found pig.
