Man shot in north Shreveport; police looking for shooters

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Police are looking for the 2 people they believe shot a driver twice as he arrived at a north Shreveport apartment complex early Saturday morning.

Police found the man with 2 gunshot wounds just before 6 a.m. in the 2900 block of Peach Street.

The man reportedly was shot in the stomach area and an arm when he pulled in the parking lot of Cooper Road Plaza Apartments, according to police. He was taken to University Health in Shreveport for treatment of wounds authorities said did not appear to be life-threatening.

Police believe the victim was shot by 2 men in dark-colored clothing. They say the men ran into the apartment complex in an unknown direction after the shooting.
