Suspects sought in armed robbery of man walking down Kings Hwy

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police detectives are looking for the 2 men who reportedly snatched another man off the street late Monday night and robbed him at gunpoint.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Fairfield Avenue for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a man walking down the middle of the street, bleeding from his head. He told the officers he had been walking in the 1100 block of Kings Highway when 2 men forced him into a dark-colored sports utility vehicle and robbed him at gun point.

The victim says he was dropped off in the 1100 block of Fairfield, where one of the men shot at him multiple times and missed.

The victim was treated at the scene by the Shreveport Fire Department.
 
Investigators are working to recover surveillance footage in efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible for the crime.
