Woman arrested after violent night in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating a stabbing after a woman was arrested for public intoxication over the weekend.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of Stonewall Street.

Police say 2 women were reportedly drinking when they got into a fight. One of the women allegedly hit the other with a glass bottle, cutting her in the arm and ear.

When police arrived they say the alleged victim had already left. Police believe the woman has non-life-threatening injuries.

Temeka Thomas, 33, was arrested for public intoxication. She has not been charged with the stabbing because the victim wasn't found.
