Cass County, TX. woman found dead, 1 arrested

CASS COUNTY, TX (KSLA) - An East Texas woman is facing a murder charge after another woman was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound Thursday afternoon.
Cass County sheriff's deputies say the body of 54-year-old Linda Lamb Gildon was discovered at a house on County Road 2360 in Marrietta around 1:30 p.m.
Gildon's body was sent for an autopsy.
Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe says they arrested 51-year-old Wanda Carmack on one count of murder Thursday night.
The sheriff has not said what led to Gildon's death or how Carmack may have been involved.
