SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating multiple shots fired in the Mooretown neighborhood early Tuesday.

Police were called to the corner of Hollywood and Jewella avenue just after midnight after reports that someone in a dark car fired at  the Hollywood Mini-Mart on the corner.

Police say there were bullet holes in the gas station windows and shell casings in the parking lot.

It's unknown how many shots were fired at the station, but police found multiple pistol and rifle casings.

The damage appears to be minor.

No arrests have been made but witnesses report seeing a dark colored car drive off.

About 15 minutes later, Shreveport Police were called to reports of shots near Prentiss Street near Essex and Fairy Avenue.

Police believe it could be the same shooter involved in the earlier shooting that was just a few blocks away.

Police say they found pistol and rifle casings in the area also.

No injuries were reported.
