BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Less than an hour after Bossier City Police sought the public's help with identifying a man found dead at the Louisiana Boardwalk, authorities say they were able to identify the man.

Police say they found the body of 24-year-old Ryan Michael Fife at the entrance to the Boardwalk from the lower level of the parking garage near Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro after responding to a call around 4:20 a.m. Sunday about a nude man who was reportedly vandalizing a car on the fourth level of the parking garage and was exhibiting other irrational behavior.

Not long after arriving on the scene, responding officers found the Fife's body. Police say it appears he fell or jumped from the top of the parking garage. Detectives say it does not appear that foul play was involved in the Fife's death, but it is an ongoing investigation. Fife's body was sent to the Bossier Parish Coroner's Office for an autopsy.

Bossier police say they were able to identify the man after he fit the description of a man who was reported missing to Shreveport police. A family member reportedly confirmed his identity to detectives later Sunday afternoon.
