Suspect arrested in Oil City shots fired incident

OIL CITY, LA (KSLA) - Caddo Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested a teen they say is responsible for shooting at two men at an Oil City apartment complex.
Deputies issued an arrest warrant on Monday for 17-year-old James Taylor III, who investigators say is also known as "Stank."
Witnesses say a gray Chevrolet Impala pulled into the Villa Oaks apartment complex in the 400 block of Walnut Street around 8:20 p.m. Sunday, and Taylor was seen leaning out of the passenger window. Detectives were told he then shot at the men who were standing by the stairway. The men were not injured.
Investigators say Taylor and one of the men he shot at were involved in a Facebook dispute over a female. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. His bond is set at $250,000.
