Accused killer nabbed by Shreveport police

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A suspect wanted in the murder of a teen on Peach Street earlier this week has been arrested.

Solomon Tucker, 21, was arrested by agents with the Shreveport Police Vice Unit in the 1800 block of Jewella Avenue just after noon Wednesday. Tucker had been sought on an outstanding warrant charging him with second degree murder in Sunday's shooting death of 17-year-old Jonantea Carter.

Following his arrest, Tucker was booked into the Shreveport City Jail. His bond is set at $250,000.
