SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Three local men were arrested after a traffic stop turned into a drug bust.

It happened on North Market Street in Shreveport around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday when Caddo Sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle that reportedly had a brake light out.

Deputies were given consent by the driver, Jonathan Coffee, to search the vehicle. In the car, deputies allegedly found 24.9 grams of suspected marijuana individually packaged and a stolen firearm.

Coffee, 20 of Mooringsport, was charged with manufacturing and distribution of schedule I, prohibited acts and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm, brake equipment required and fugitive probation violation.

The front seat passenger, Jeffery Noble, 27 of Bethany, who was wearing a D.A.R.E. shirt at the time, was charged with possession of a firearm/concealed weapon by a felon and illegal possession of stolen firearms.

The back seat passenger, Aaron Farmer, 26 of Blanchard, was charged with illegal possession of stolen firearms.

All three were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
