SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Children and staff were evacuated from a daycare facility early Monday morning due to lightning striking the building. It happened around 6:45 a.m. at the Little Angels Daycare in the 5900 block of Flournoy Lucas Road.
Chief Louis Johnson of the Shreveport Fire Department tells us that the strike to the building did not cause any fire or danger. He says the building was evacuated as a safety precaution.
