Megan ACT Test

More than a dozen men and women have been arrested as a result of a prostitution sting conducted by the Shreveport Police Department's Vice Unit this week. Police say Operation "School in Session" was set into motion on August 20 in the 1400 block of East 70th Street.

The operation was in response to multiple complaints received from citizens concerning illegal prostitution. In all, police say 14 people ranging in age from 25 to 58 were arrested during the operation. Based on the volume of arrests, the validity of the complaints received were easily supported. Those booked now face charges of Solicitation of Prostitution.
