MCCURTAIN COUNTY, OK (KSLA) - An East Oklahoma woman was air lifted to a Texas hospital after a wreck in McCurtain County Tuesday left her with internal injuries.

According to the OK Department of Public Safety, Brandy Michelle Brown 36 of Broken Bow, was driving a 1988 Buick LeSabre headed eastbound on SH 3 near Broken Bow.

Another vehicle, a 2013 Peterbilt pulling a log trailer driven by Jesse Talley, 51 of Broken Bow, was headed in the same direction. Troopers said he failed to stop in a construction zone for a flag man and hit Brown's vehicle.

Troopers said Talley was uninjured at the time, but Brown was flown to CHRISTUS St. Michael hospital in Texarkana. Her condition was unknown as of press time.

The trooper's report indicated that Brown was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Brown's son, Kaden Brown, 11, was also riding in the car. He was treated and released from McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel with internal injuries, reports said.

There were no passengers in Talley's vehicle.
