Motorcycle rider injured in Shreveport accident

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A motorcycle rider ended up in the hospital after hitting a car.
Shreveport Police say the crash happened at noon Tuesday at the intersection of West Algonquin Trail and Grimmett Drive.
Officers tell us the driver of a black car went through a stop sign on Algonquin and into the path of the motorcyclist.
The motorcycle rider was taken to Willis-Knighton Bossier and is expected to be O.K.
So far police have not said the driver of the car will be ticketed.
