Suspect sought in armed robbery of Many, La dollar store

MANY, LA (KSLA) - Police in Many, La. are looking for a suspect in connection with the armed robbery of a local dollar store on Saturday evening.
According to Many police, it happened at 7 p.m. at the Family Dollar Store in the 100 block of San Antonio Ave. The man approached the clerk with what was believed to be a handgun and came away with an undisclosed amount of money from the register.
No one was hurt. Police say there is no information on what the suspect might have been driving when he left, but they are looking at surveillance video of the suspect taken at a different store before the robbery. Stills have been released in hopes that someone will recognize him.
The suspect is described as a young male, about 5'9" in height wearing a gray hoodie. He is believed to be armed with a hand gun. if you have any information on this crime, please call the MPD at 256-5617.
