Three Bossier Parish men were arrested after a Caddo Parish Detective, posing as a 13-year-old girl chatting online, allegedly lured them into meeting for sex.
Deputies say Jesus Michael Jimenez, 21, of Bossier City, William Brock Owers, 19, of Benton, and Sydney Seymour Carpenter, 21, Barksdale AFB, were arrested on charges of solicitation of minors. All were booked into Caddo Correctional Center.
Sheriff's Detective Jared Marshall led a short-term investigation in which he posted a status of being a 13-year-old girl. Deputies say Jimenez began to chat online, send sexual images and ask the alleged teen for sex.
They say Jimenez then showed up to a designated location, believing he was going to meet the girl. Instead, he was met by deputies and taken into custody on May 8. Jimenez was charged with one count of computer-aided solicitation of a minor, indecent behavior with juveniles and possession of schedule 1 marijuana.
A later investigation by Marshall led to the arrest of Owers and Carpenter. Deputies say both believed they were meeting a female at designated locations before they were arrested on May 10 and charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Marshall was assisted in his investigations by the North West Louisiana Internet Crimes against Children Task Force.
