Caddo grand jury indicts 2 on murder charges

CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) - Two people were indicted on murder charges during this week's Caddo Parish grand jury session, the prosecuting attorney's office announced on Friday.

Indicted were:

Kevin Lynn Smith, 32, was charged with one count of second-degree murder in the February 2012 shooting death of Anthony Crain in the 2500 block of Holly St. Smith will be in Judge Ramona Emanuel's court April 22 for arraignment and a preliminary examination.

Robert Calvin Farris, 22, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder in January's shooting deaths of Stephen Bryant and Madonna Wachter at a residence in the 200 block of Columbia St. Farris is scheduled for arraignment on March 18 in Judge Ramon Lafitte's court.
