TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) - Police say they've made an arrest in the armed robbery of a Texarkana, Arkansas hotel over the weekend, and now they say he's responsible for another recent hotel robbery.

Texarkana, Arkansas police say officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Economy Inn at 4300 North State Line Avenue at 7:30 Saturday morning. Officer Dennis Hagan spoke to an employee who told him that the robber had entered the business and demanded cash from the business. After receiving the money, the man fled the scene on foot. Surveillance video showed the suspect to be about 5'9" and 200 lbs with facial hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

On Sunday, Officer Hagan was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 1600 block of East 50th street involving child custody issues. While investigating, Officer Hagan learned of information that matched the suspect in the disturbance call to the description of the suspect in the hotel robbery a day earlier.
Police say that led officers to 28-year-old Brandon Frazier. He was picked up in the 1000 block of Locust Street and arrested, charged with interference with child custody and aggravated robbery.

Early Monday afternoon, Texarkana Police said detectives have also now charged with an additional count of aggravated robbery. That charge is in connection with the November 8 armed robbery of the Ambassador Inn at 200 Realtor Avenue.
