BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - Authorities are investigating the death of a woman found in her truck after it went off the roadway in South Bossier Parish Saturday morning.

It happened around 9:40 a.m. Witnesses told police they saw the truck go off the road in the 600 block of Highway 527, through a ditch, across a field and into the side road of a well site.

When medics arrived, they found she was dead. She has been identified as 67-year-old Linda Klemm of Doyline.

Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office Lt. Bill Davis says they are trying to determine whether the woman's death was a result of a traffic accident or something else. "We ruled it initially as a crash and we think that there could possibly be a little more than that. We got the Louisiana State Police looking into that and the sheriff's office is doing an investigation into the cause of death just to rule out any foul play possibilities."

Investigators are waiting for the autopsy results to rule out whether a medical condition may have led to the wreck and her death.
