Shreveport woman jailed after stabbing man in head with fork
SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport Police have arrested a woman they say stabbed a man in the head with a fork.
Police say Melvin Demming, 24, suffered non-life threatening injuries during a domestic dispute about 3:50 p.m. Sunday at a house in the 1800 block of Rainwater Street.
Demming was in a dispute with Cierra Blackburn, 21, at the house when police say Blackburn picked up a fork and attacked Demming with it. Demming suffered a cut to his head and was taken by private auto to LSU Health.
Officers arrested Blackburn and booked her on one count of aggravated battery.
